Various Projects
Most of these pieces are a part of an exhibition project I did for my 11th and 12th grade Art IB class in Great River School. My exhibition was meant to create depictions of the world of the future, while also criticizing different kinds of unhealthy issues of today, such as: eating junk foods, A.I., overflowing prisons, no privacy from tech, etc. I have used many kinds of media for my pieces in order to expand my horizons and to show my concepts in different ways. I have always loved drawing, fashion, and stencil making, and it is expressed through my exhibition. My goal for you as the audience, is to enjoy and take in the different messages in my art but to not take it too seriously. I made my art with the intent to relate to the downfall of society and unhealthy issues in America but these pieces are also just purely for entertainment as well. I want to communicate that there are always things happening around us that we don't always think about most of the time. I took this concept and just had fun with it by creating my own extreme versions of characters and ideas in the world. (Including my Junk Food Satire drawings I also have in my website)
I like shocking, satiristic, dramatic and political ideas, whether it be in film, TV shows, music, or in works of art because I find it to be a comical and creative way to express certain views and opinions on things.
Creating works of art has inspired me to create more and more ideas stemming from one another. New media I have learned such as: painting, stencil graffiti, clothing design, have motivated me to continue making art in those ways.
